Michelle Teague Bio
Michelle Teague is an American recording artist, born and raised in the east Tennessee college town of Knoxville. Back in the frontier days, Appalachia was settled by many Scot/Irish, which explains the influence of the wildly popular Celtic hits, ‘The Wind At My Back’ and ‘Can’t Turn Away (From the Moonlight)’ and the title track of her very successful debut album, ‘Lost.’ While the CD is mostly a pop offering, there is no denying the influence of growing up in east Tennessee. Michelle has toured 33 states in the U.S., with sold out concerts at every venue. Although she plays smaller venues, her celebrity is growing daily.
Due to a series of unfortunate events, Michelle is a guarded individual, who remains fiercely private, not offering much of herself outside of performing at her concerts.
